Service Description

4-Hour Intermediate-Beginner Course | 2 Sessions Sewing Foundations 102 is the next step for students who have completed Sewing Foundations 101 or already have basic sewing experience. This hands-on course helps students strengthen their sewing skills while learning techniques that prepare them to confidently create more detailed projects. Students will build on the fundamentals learned in Sewing Foundations 101 and learn how to work with patterns, understand fabric grain and pattern placement, accurately measure and cut fabric, sew consistent seams, and apply techniques such as seam finishing, pressing, gathering, hems, and basic closures. Through guided instruction and hands-on practice, students will complete a beginner-to-intermediate project that allows them to apply multiple sewing techniques from start to finish. Prerequisite: Sewing Foundations 101 or equivalent basic sewing experience What Students Will Learn: How to read and follow a simple sewing pattern Understanding fabric grain and pattern placement Measuring and accurately cutting fabric Maintaining consistent seam allowances Proper pressing techniques Basic seam-finishing techniques Creating hems Gathering and easing fabric Working with basic closures Improving sewing-machine control and accuracy Completing a project from beginning to end Course Goal By the end of Sewing Foundations 102, students should feel more comfortable working independently at the sewing machine and have the foundational skills necessary to progress to Sewing Foundations 103 and more advanced garment and project-based classes. Sewing Foundations 102 builds on the skills learned in Sewing Foundations 101 and takes students one step closer to sewing independently and confidently.

Cancellation Policy

The Creator’s Studio – Individual Sewing Class Policy 1. Class Scheduling Individual classes must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance. Rescheduling or cancellations must be requested at least 24 hours before the scheduled class time. 2. Payment Full payment is required at the time of booking to reserve your spot. Payments are non-refundable but may be credited toward a future class if cancellation occurs within the allowable time frame. 3. Attendance & Tardiness Please arrive on time. Class time will not be extended for late arrivals. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the session may be forfeited without a refund. 4. Materials All basic tools and machines are provided. Students must bring their own fabric and patterns unless otherwise stated in the class description. 5. Safety & Conduct Students must follow all safety instructions and respect studio equipment. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the class without refund. 6. Photo/Video Release By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes, unless you opt out in writing.
