Dr. Joyce has over 50 years of sewing experience. She began sewing in a home economics class in her high school. Her experience includes learning to sew on a Singer Treadle sewing machine. Dr. Joyce has always dreamt of opening her very own sewing studio and her dream has finally come true. She has sewn various types of garments and home decor throughout her sewing career.  She enjoys learning new sewing techniques and teaching others. One of Dr. Joyce's favorite makes was her very own wedding dress. This project was very  dear to her heart and challenged her sewing abilities. Dr. Joyce hopes to  inspire others to challenge themselves and create beautiful garments and decor. She also enjoys gardening and trying new recipes in the kitchen. She looks forward to helping students achieve their sewing goals.
