Advanced Beginner Sewing Class: Pants, Skirt, or Pullover Shirt Ready to level up your sewing skills? This Advanced Beginner class is perfect for students who understand basic machine operation and are ready to confidently construct wearable garments. In this hands-on course, you’ll choose to create pants, a flattering skirt, or a stylish pullover shirt while learning essential garment construction techniques. We’ll focus on: Reading and understanding commercial patterns Proper fabric selection and layout Accurate cutting and marking Seam finishes and professional pressing techniques Waistbands, elastic casings, facings, or simple sleeves (based on your project) Hemming for a clean, polished look Students may bring their own fabric, or fabric can be included based on your selected project. Fabric guidance will be provided before class to ensure the best results. By the end of this class, you’ll walk away with a finished garment and the confidence to tackle more advanced designs on your own. The Creator’s Studio – Beginner’s Sewing Class Policy Welcome! We're excited to have you join our Beginner’s Sewing Class. To ensure a safe, supportive, and productive learning experience for everyone, please review the following class policies: 1. Registration & Payment • Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure your spot. • Spaces are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. • No walk-ins. All students must be registered in advance. 2. Cancellation & Refunds • Cancellations made at least 48 hours before class may be eligible for a class credit (no cash refunds). • No credits or make-ups will be offered for no-shows or same-day cancellations. 3. Class Attendance • Classes will begin promptly; students arriving more than 15 minutes late may not be admitted and will forfeit the session. 4. Materials & Supplies • All sewing machines, tools, and basic supplies are provided. • Some classes may require students to bring their own fabric or purchase a beginner sewing kit from the studio (if applicable, details will be provided at registration). 5. Safety & Conduct • Students must follow all safety instructions given by the instructor. • Respectful and kind behavior is expected at all times. • Misuse of equipment or disruptive behavior may result in dismissal from the class without refund. 6. Photo/Video Release • We love to share student projects! By participating, you give permission for photos and videos to be used for promotional purposes.
