Sewing 201: Tops & Dresses // 4 Weeks
Service Description
CREATE YOUR OWN WARDROBE. Yes—you can absolutely do this. We break down the garment-making process into clear, manageable steps as you sew a simple women’s dress or top. Along the way, you’ll learn how to read and follow patterns with confidence. a pattern and develop the skills you need to move on to more complicated pieces. Skills learned: • Introduction to patterns, woven apparel fabrics, body measurements and size charts • Pattern layout and cutting fabric using the grainline • Setting in sleeves & gathering • Cuff sleeve finish • Seam finishes • Neckline finishing • Sewing curves and hems Students should be familiar with basic machine setup, including threading, and able to sew straight seams. Prior experience with patterns or garment construction is not required. Prerequisite: Completion of our Sewing 101 class or similar foundational sewing experience. The pattern and fabric are included (standard color provided). Students are welcome to bring their own fabric if they prefer a different color option.

Cancellation Policy
The Creator’s Studio – Individual Sewing Class Policy 1. Class Scheduling Individual classes must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance. Rescheduling or cancellations must be requested at least 24 hours before the scheduled class time. 2. Payment Full payment is required at the time of booking to reserve your spot. Payments are non-refundable but may be credited toward a future class if cancellation occurs within the allowable time frame. 3. Attendance & Tardiness Please arrive on time. Class time will not be extended for late arrivals. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the session may be forfeited without a refund. 4. Materials All basic tools and machines are provided. Students must bring their own fabric and patterns unless otherwise stated in the class description. 5. Safety & Conduct Students must follow all safety instructions and respect studio equipment. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the class without refund. 6. Photo/Video Release By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes, unless you opt out in writing.
